The Feasterville store, a third-generation business based in the Buck Hotel Shopping Center, offers watches that you won’t find anywhere else in the county, perhaps even further.

The store will become the exclusive distributor in Philadelphia and Bucks County for Switzerland-based Romain Jerome watches, which are only available in 20 stores nationwide.

Among the line’s offerings is Titanic-DNA, inspired by the legendary ocean liner. The rusted steel bezel contains authentic steel from the wreck as well as steel supplied by the Belfast shipyard where the Titanic was built. The hands are inspired by the Titanic’s anchor and rotate on a dial of deep black achieved using coal collected from the legendary ship. The line is limited to 2,012 pieces.

Romain Jerome also offers Moon Dust-DNA, which has a lunar dial based on a mineral deposit that includes moon dust. Steel from the Apollo XI spacecraft is used for the case and the crocodile strap contains fibers from an ISS spacesuit. The line is limited to 1,969 pieces.

Precision Watches also specializes in high-end watch repair. “Everything is done on the premises and the shop is authorized by most high-end brands to do their watch repairs,” says Roman Murat, who operates the store along with his grandfather, Michael, and father, Gary.

The store is also an authorized dealer for Omega, Bell & Ross, Tag Heuer, Michele, Bell and Ross, Zenith, U-Boat, Hamilton, Oris and Fortis. It also sells high-end sunglass brands, including Bulgari, Tiffany and Co. and Oliver Peoples.

Precision Watches is the only authorized dealer for sunglass maker Chrome Hearts in Bucks and Montgomery counties. These sunglasses sell from $600 on up. They contain Carl Zeiss Vision lenses and the frames are made from unique materials such as silver, exotic woods and high-end leather. “As a custom design company, Chrome Hearts can make anything,” Roman says. “If you want all gold frames with diamonds, they will make them.”

The family’s history as watchmakers dates back about 50 years, when Michael became a watchmaker in the Ukraine. The family relocated to Bucks County in 1988 and in 1991, Gary and Michael opened a small watch repair store. In January 2007, the store moved to its present location. Gary’s wife, Milla, is also active in the business.

“My dad taught me a lot about watch making and led me in the right direction,” Roman says. “The business has evolved and changed into something much bigger than what it was originally.”
