Seasons Garden Center’s Open House
Saturday, December 5th from 9am to 5:30pm

Join Seasons Garden Center for their annual holiday open house! Children can enjoy the holiday craft workshop from 10am to 4pm, including pine cone decorations for outdoors and “color a Christmas or winter card,” which are wonderful gifts from the children. Design staff will be on hand to answer all decorating questions. Complimentary refreshments will be served all day, including Kelly’s sugar cookies and Dan’s favorite chocolate chip espresso cookies and hot cider. Seasons also offers custom container design, custom wreaths, event decorating, fresh cut greens and flowers and beautiful poinsettias perfect for the holidays. Bucks County Symphony Orchestra’s Annual Youth Concert
Sunday, December 6th from 3 to 4:30pm

The Bucks County Symphony Orchestra season continues with the annual Youth Concert on Sunday, December 6, 2009 with soloist Carol Jantsch, Principal Tubist of the Philadelphia Orchestra. The concert will also feature a performance by BCS’s youth competition winner, Bihn Sangbin Park. Praised by “The Philadelphia Inquirer” as having “a sound as clear and sure as it is luxurious,” Ms. Jantsch has been Principal Tuba of the Philadelphia Orchestra since 2006. She won the position while still a senior at the University of Michigan, becoming the first female tuba player in a major symphony orchestra. Ms. Jantsch will play John Williams’ Tuba Concerto with a selection with a brass ensemble composed of Central Bucks middle school students. Christmas Concert at Glencairn Museum
Tuesday, December 15th from 8 to 10pm
The Glencairn Sing features soloists, audience caroling, readings from the Christmas story and, of course, the incomparable “Glencairn Horns” comprised of current Philadelphia Orchestra members. Your holidays will be greatly enhanced by this reflective and moving concert—a patron favorite year after year and long-standing tradition for many. Wine Tasting in Riedel Crystal

Roger Clemens Visits NJ to Help Raise Money for People With Disabilities
Pitching legend and former New York Yankee Roger Clemens will be headlining a fundraiser benefiting Allies Inc. and the individuals with disabilities they serve. Allies Inc. is a New Jersey based registered and accredited 501 (c) (3) nonprofit company founded in 1999 that has 750 employees and serves thousands of individuals with disabilities living throughout NJ, NY & PA. These disabilities include Autism, Asperger’s syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Blindness /Visual Impairment, Deafness/Hearing Impairment, Fragile-X syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Spina Bifida, traumatic brain injury, Williams syndrome, Tourette syndrome, and more. Roger will appear at the KatManDu night club on the waterfront in Trenton on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 4PM to meet and take photos with ticket holders. Also appearing will be Ultimate Fighting Championship World Top-Ten Ranked fighter Frankie Edgar.  Live music will be provided by the VH1 Cover Wars national winner, Jumper.
