21st Annual Tyler Tasting Party
June 5th from 7 to 11 P.M.
Fans of wine and jazz should visit the 21st Annual Tyler Tasting Party, featuring food, wine and spirits from 40 of the finest restaurants in Doylestown. Take part in a silent action and dancing under the stars to the jazz band, Doylestown Heat in the Tyler Gardens. The proceeds from the event benefit the students in Bucks County Community College’s (BCCC’s) Historic Preservation program and the restoration of Tyler Hall. Tyler Hall is a French-inspired mansion that represents the cornerstone of BCCC’s Newtown Campus. Tickets are $125 and can be purchased online. New Hope Historical Society 16th Annual Garden Tour
June 6th from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M.
Take the time to smell the flowers at the 16th Annual Garden Tour. This is a self-guided tour of six private Bucks County Gardens, with a tour theme of “Pollinating Rhythm.” Along with a relaxing walk through the gardens, you also will receive a detailed and colorful brochure that contains easy to follow directions and map of the gardens. Tickets are $28 and can be purchased at the Parry Mansion Museum on Main and Ferry Streets in New Hope on the day of the tour. Ticket Holders also receive free admission to the Parry Mansion Museum. Chalfont 5k Challenge
June 6th at 9 A.M.
Take the challenge on June 6th at Chalfont Borough Hall, where the community will be highlighting the 17th annual Chalfont Challenge in celebration of Chalfont’s 108th birthday. The race starts at 9 A.M., with registration from 7:30 to 8:45 A.M. Featuring sponsors, food, and entertainment for the entire family, this race is one of the many races featured in the Bucks 5k Series this spring and summer. The series started off with the Lab Fitness 5k Run on April 18th. Many members of the Bucks County Community started off their day with a brisk morning run through Warrington Township. The run started and finished at the Health and Wellness Center on 611 in Warrington. There was a DJ, water ice, smoothies and other delicious foods at the event. The event was supervised by Lab Fitness and prizes were awarded to the first, second, and third place finalists. Some of the Lab 5k sponsors included Panera Bread, Univest, Eagles Peak, Planet Smoothie, MCBH Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, and of course Bucks & Montgomery Living magazine. If you needed to stretch your back or any other muscles, sponsors Hall Family Chiropractic and Orthopedics at Doylestown Hospital were there to lend a hand. 1st Annual Happy Times Golf Classic
June 8th at 9:30 A.M.
Fore! If you are interested in playing 18 holes of golf to benefit the American Cancer Society, then come on down to the Limekiln Golf Club on Monday, June 8th. The fees are $100 each and $400 for foursomes. These fees include a cart, a ticket for one hot dog and one beer, Long Drive Contest, Hole in One Grand Prize Contest and Awards Luncheon. 2009 Summer Concert Series

Feel like spending a cool summer night listening to a jazz band? Come on down to Hansell Park Band Shelter in Buckingham. The concert series starts off with the eclectic and smooth sounds of the Eric Mintell Jazz Band. Bring a chair or blanket and spend the night listening to some cool jazz sounds.
